    Quite right too. The only thing that should be put in custard is one’s face, mouth open, tongue out (to catch any stray drops).

    Or possibly a spoon.

    Bizarre though. Why wouldn’t you want the cup to go in the cupboard – that’s where they live!! Does the owner of that cup have OCD?
